What Is Memory Care and Who Is It For?

Memory Care is a specialized form of senior living for individuals experiencing cognitive decline, including Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia. It provides structured daily routines, 24/7 support, and personalized care that promotes safety, reduces confusion, and encourages connection.At Zeal, our Memory Care is designed for residents facing memory loss, disorientation, or behavioral changes. We offer a gated community with surveillance systems to ensure their safety at all times, while our compassionate staff delivers care that respects their dignity and identity. Every element is built to provide calm, comfort, and continuity.

Memory Care Levels of Care

We offer five levels of Memory Care tailored to different stages of cognitive decline. Each level provides personalized care, emotional support, and safety within our secure, gated community:

Level 1 – Mild memory loss with minimal behavioral concerns. Residents receive structured routines, light cueing, and limited daily assistance.

Level 2 – Moderate memory impairment. Residents benefit from regular support with ADLs like hygiene and medication, along with therapeutic engagement.

Level 3 – Advanced cognitive decline. Requires substantial assistance and behavior management for issues like wandering or agitation.

Level 4 – Late-stage dementia care. Full support with all ADLs and continuous supervision with calming interventions.

Level 5 – Intensive memory care. Comprehensive personal care, behavioral support, and mechanical transfer assistance, supported by 24/7 monitoring in a secure environment.
